”” Karissa McCoy is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she teaches courses in composition and American literature, often with an emphasis on gender studies. Her research interests include American literary/cultural studies, critical race studies, and gender/sexuality studies. She received her Ph.D. in English from Vanderbilt University, where she lectured in both the English and Women’s and Gender Studies departments.
