Global Classroom Project:

The Study of Communication and Culture Linking Russia and America

This website is the final project for LCC4406:  Professional
Communications at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  The purpose of the
class was to facilitate efficient methods of communications in the
professional world.  This includes a very indepth study of
multiculturalism, focusing on how to communicate between countries.  The
class was stuctured around an online environment, in which students
corresponded online throughout the week.  Students at the European
University in St. Petersburg, Russia also participated in the project,
corresponding online with the American students.  The purpose of this was
to experience first hand communications between cultures in a
collaborative classroom.  The goal of this final project was to study
different aspects of communications with respect to the American and
Russian cultures and to present the findings to the world through this
website.  Please look around the site and explore our findings.  They are
informative and useful for further understanding professional
communications between cultures.
