Welcome to WebBoard and the "boundaryless" classroom! This site will provide our class with the capability for Web-based networked communication out of class, which means that you'll be participating in a class that never ends (so to speak. . . ).

As noted on the schedule page, The same level of participation is required in virtual settings as in face-to-face classes. For every hour of class that's scheduled in a virtual environment, you must devote an hour of time online. Your indication of participation in virtual class is, of course, dependent upon your willingness to send posts. It is imperative that you log into WebBoard at least every class day to learn what is expected of you in class and what you're expected to do toward development of your assignments.

WebBoard will also allow us to discuss class material asynchronously outside the physical locus of the classroom. Please feel free to access our site for review of class activities and for continual participation outside the classroom. In other words, when your most creative and imaginative insights pop into mind in the middle of the night, you can add them to our discussions while they're still fresh.
