Grant awarded to conduct primary research in artistic applications of virtual reality. This project was one of six selected from among an international pool of collaborative groups which includes the foremost media artists and computer scientists working with virtual and communications technologies. It resulted in numerous exhibitions, lectures, and publications, and aired on the Discovery Channel and the BBC. For two years, beginning October 1994.
