the concept for der robofünk came from the idea of infovis for computer viruses, spam, and popups. der robofünk roams around a virtual world that accurately represents a persons computer system destroying all the harmful agents found. this opens up a huge range for precepts and actions. percepts include files, data streams and network traffic. actions would then include cleansing these items of harmful agents. this would all be represented graphically as a robot guard blasting all sorts of forms. hence its goal: destruction of all items in its environment. not subtle but an effect and entertaining display

der robofünk is a virtual pet that is aware of its environment and reacts to it. der robofünk perception is based off of object recognition. as new objects are created in the world the robot's controller takes note of these changes allows the robot to react appropriately. der robofünk main goal is to remove all objects from the world.
