Daryl Farmer received his B.A. in physical education and secondary education from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado and his M.A. and Ph.D. in English and creative writing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His teaching and research interests include fiction and nonfiction writing, narrative theory, eco-criticism and 20th century literature. His most recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in South Dakota Review, The Laurel Review, Isotope, Quarter After Eight and Prairie Schooner. Bicycling beyond the Divide: Two Journeys into the West, his first book, will be published in March, 2008 by the University of Nebraska Press.
