A Few Notes...

When I was an undergrad at Harvard, I once claimed I was “from Atlanta” in front of someone who actually grew up in the city. He said, “Oh really, where?” I said “Gwinnett County.” He said, “Oh.  The boonies.” I’m still not sure if a place with so many malls should be considered “boonies,” but I’m nevertheless happy to be back (near) home, living in Decatur and teaching at Georgia Tech.

As Communication Program Coordinator in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture, I work closely with Rebecca Burnett, Director of Writing and Communication, to make sure that the program runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis and continues to provide top-quality resources and training in communication not only for the students who take our courses, but also for the entire Georgia Tech community. When I'm not playing Administrator, I teach courses on first-year communication, technical communication, and film.
