• Creativity: Use class discussion and texts you have read as the starting point for a provocative analysis of the material.  Show a willingness to take a risk in staking a claim.
• Correctness: Your essay should be typed, double spaced, with name, class period, and title of your essay at the top of the first page.  Your grammar and writing style should be clear and of college level.
