I teach and supervise courses in media theory and practice in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture. These courses form part of our new degree in Computational Media (jointly offered with the College of Computing) as well as our B.S. degree in Science, Technology, and Culture.

Recent teaching includes courses in Web Design (LCC 3404) and Advanced Media Design (LCC 4404). Together with Blair McIntyre LCC 4404 is a course in Augmented Reality Design using our DART system.

I am committed to teaching the theory and history of media and to helping students explore the complex (remediating) relationships between digital media and such earlier forms as print, photography, film, and television
