Brief Bio

Paul with the founders of Digg       Paul Stamatiou is a 19 year old sophmore attending the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia with a major in Computational Media.  He came to Georgia Tech planning to major in Computer Engineering, but quickly realized his interests lie heavily in the new Computational Media major.  Paul was born in Houston, Texas and calls it home.  He comes from a Greek family with strong ties to the culture.
      Paul has always had a strong interest in computers and even acquired CompTIA A+ computer hardware certification on a whim.  In the summer of 2004, he overclocked his computer into the ranks of the Futuremark 3DMark03 Hall of Fame where millions of people attempt to benchmark their computers for a top spot.  Recently, Paul has been devoted to his technology weblog, PaulStamatiou.com.  This blog has grown intensely, having served over a million visitors in a short period.  At one point, Paul was featured on the popular CommandN tech video podcast by Amber MacArthur, a host for several TechTV shows.  Take a look at the clip here.  Paul plans on using his efame to land an internship at a tech firm in California over the summer.
