Astronaut Background Information:
I am currently 20 years old and I am in my third year at Georgia Tech. I am a Computer Science major at the moment, however I am contemplating switching to the Computational media major. It is design projects like this website that increase my interest in Computational Media. Computer Science does not seem to allow for much room to think creatively, interactively, or artistically. However within the first week of class, students have been able to demonstrate their abilities artistically and have been able to give their classmates some knowledge about them in the process. This past summer I received the opportunity to work for International Business Machines (IBM) as a summer intern. While working as part of a team that included around eight professionals, I was able to learn how to plan objectives, set them, carry them out, and then present them to management. I am chief program architect on a system that I developed during my time as an intern, which is being used by 3 different departments at IBM today.
