The purpose of this project was to create a visual simulation using the Quartz visual design system for OS X. My project ended up being a trippy visualization of colors influenced by LFOs and user input placed on the screensaver background and a rotating cube.
For this project, I used a Psychedelic visualization, a rotating cube clip, an LFO, A plasma image, a number-RGB converter, mouse input, random values, and a cubic interpolation.
As you watch the simulation, pay attention to how your mosue influences but does not directcly control the colors and how colors and speeds change on their own.
