Inform Game: Elcici's Lair

The premise for the game is that the player takes the role of a knight that is to become a legend. A dragon named Elcici has been terrorizing your hometown, Skilesia, for decades, and no one has been able to defeat her. You are the knight destined to defeat Elcici.

The idea for the game came from King Arthur, legendary King of Brittain. While doing some web surfing, I came across a few articles about King Arthur and his sword Excalibur. After reading a few, I thought it would be interesting to allow the player to obtain Excalibur in order to defeat a dragon, a common enemy in fantasy games. However, to put a twist on things, I decided that I would punish a player for being a bit hasty in attempting to defeat the dragon. For instance, there is a room in which a player can't get out of without a key, and they will eventually lose because of this.

My space includes basic rooms a knight might encounter on a quest. First there is a bedroom which the knight sleeps in. Then, in following a castle like setup, I decided to include a weapons room, and a long hall way. In addition, what castle would be complete without a court yard to honor past kings, as well a a kitchen to feed the hungry knights. Out side of the castle is the forest. In the forest, a player can get lost, but not too bad. Afterwards is a tomb, which leads to an underground cave system, where Elcici resides. The space was setup to change from a peaceful setting to one not so friendly, like a knight would face when going into battle, or going on a quest.

Objects
--Sword in Bedroom
--Food in Kitchen
--Armor in Weapons Room
--Amulet in Trophy Room
--Shield in Storage Room
--Skull in Forest
--Sword in Chapel
--Sword in Sword Room

Tips
--Be sure to take all items. You never know when one will come in handy later in the game.
--The forest is a small maze, but it may help to get lost in order to find a "key" item.
--In the tomb, you might to "Look At" certain items rather than just "Exploring".
--Also, in the tomb, if you don't "Go" then you'll be fine to "Look At" your surroundings.
--If you see a door, it may help to "Explore" it. Remeber, a key may not be a key.
--Make sure you have the right equipment. Rushing to fight Elcici could result in a lose.
--Remember, its only a game. If you get stuck, just start over and try something else.
--If you really need it, the exact solution is inside the ZIP file.
