Garage Band
So far this was the most difficult project, mainly because I know nothing about music composition. It's also difficult to find a variety of samples that mesh well together. If you're expecting this musical piece to change your life, you're expecting too much.
The song is in three parts, though one of those parts seems significantly different than the other two. The first 1/3 of the song or so is a techno beat that is meant to get the listeners attention. From there the song changes pace completely. I did this because I wanted to try to see if I could make a musical piece that could illicit a psychological/emotional response. Not necessarily crying, but more like a sense of wonder. I built the segment up, and once the listener was used to it I brought back the drum beat from the beginning of the song to tie the first 1/ 3 into the rest of the song.
This musical piece was made using Audacity. Though Audacity projects will open up in other musical editors, I recommend using Audacity for this.
