COMMUNICATION CENTER

The Communication Center will feature a series of highly engaging and innovative learning spaces for studying, discussing, and practicing written, oral, visual, and nonverbal communication, both individually and collaboratively.

Slated for the fourth floor of the proposed Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons (CULC), a new building to be located between Skiles and the Library, the Communication Center will be a locale for multipurpose communication activities including tutoring and coaching, group project collaboration and feedback, presentation practice and feedback, small group discussion, poster design and printing, and much more.

The Communication Center will offer the following services:

• Peer and professional tutoring


• Whole-class and special topic workshops


• OWL (Online Writing Lab)


• Call-in "hotline"


• ESL support

The Communication Center will promote excellence in written, oral, visual, electronic, and nonverbal communication in ways that enable members of the Georgia Tech community to have greater success in their academic and workplace careers as well as in their civic and community lives.
