IFS TRAVELLING

Because Italian Film Studies (IFS) classes meet only Monday through Thursday, students have ample time for travel outside of Gorizia. In past years, students have taken the train to several European cities:

• Venice
• Rome
• Florence
• Capri
• Vienna
• Bled (Slovenia)
• Paris
• Cinque Terre
• Naples

RyanAir, Europe`s premier discount airline, serves two nearby airports with inexpensive flights to London and Paris.

Long field trips will sometimes be organized by the program. In the past, students have visited the glorious Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice and the Museum of Film Archeology in Padua.
