INTERNSHIPS

A Science, Technology and Culture (STAC) degree prepares students for a range of career opportunities, and STAC students can earn as much as 6 semester hours for working on internships and submitting a ten-page paper to the STAC coordinator at the end of the term.

In the past, STAC students have gained on-the-job experience through a variety of internship opportunities. Although STAC students should feel free to work out their own internships, they can learn more about internships in three different ways:

  1. By exploring the Ivan Allen College Internship Database at www.advising.iac.gatech.edu/career-services/internships.php/;
  2. By making appointments with the current STAC Coordinator, Dr.J.C. Reilly.
  3. By attending information sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. in the Career Services Library, located in the Bill Moore Success Center. To learn more about these information sessions, contact Career Services at 404-894-2550 or www.career.gatech.edu.
